Pulling out on the highway lost power. Just enough to do a u-turn back onto the county road. No check engine light. Turned it off and restarted and all was fine. Decided to cont the trip. Made it a couple of miles and the check engine light came on. Decided to head home and check the codes. Lost power a couple of times during the trip home. Got a high temp battery warning when I pulled into the drive way. I checked the codes and the only code showing was P2D01 Motor electronics coolant pump over speed/Air in the system.
There is a TSB out on 2020 hybrids on the issue. it says to reprogram the BCEM. This is mainly for Hybrid Explorers, Aviators and Interceptors. Found a TSB for the Escape also.
I will load it up on the trailer tomorrow and take it to the local Ford Dealer Monday. We will see what happens.
