FINALLY took delivery 23MY

After a full week at the rail yard. Finally picked it up today. Lariat Lux Hybrid Area 51. This is my first truck, hybrid, automatic & new vehicle purchase. (Not a sports car, last car was a FRS track/autox seat time car)but anyways I’m in love!! Zero issues. First 50 miles with 35 in electric, love to see it!! First things first, de iron bathed it and then 2 coats of ammo reflex with the wheels done too. Plans for tint and front end clear bra this month and I’m going to do the bed liner this week. Then the ford accessories!! Here’s the sauce

Congratulations. I picked up my 2023 Ford Maverick XLT EB AWD Black Appearance Package in Shadow Black last night. It's my second new Ford Maverick. The first was an Oxford White XL Hybrid. It was great. Yet, I really wanted the EB with AWD and tow package. So, I sold the Hybrid to a forum member and ordered the XLT BAP EB AWD.

I love how sinister it looks in Shadow Black with the Black Appearance Package. Like you... Weathertech floor mats, Ford mud flaps, A.R.E MX-series cap, and Wet Okole seat covers (in all black) are on order. I have an appointment for a spray in bed liner to be installed on Friday.

I will be interested to see what you say about EB vs Hybrid. I would like Hybrid but AWD 4k Tow is a strong second. The truck itch is also making it stronger.

I had the same dilemma. I could not decide between the hybrid and EB. I went ahead and stayed with the hybrid. I ordered the 2022 XL Hybrid on 09/16/2021 and received it 08/13/2022. I put 980 miles on it before I sold it to someone from the forum. They made an offer to another hybrid for sale in the marketplace and the seller declined. I contacted them and informed them I would sell mine to them for their offer price.

The hybrid is great. Please don't think that I didn't like it. I got a chance to drive an EB AWD and decided I liked 2 things about this combination more: the suspension - especially the rear - is a little bit softer with the AWD; and, secondly, I like the automatic transmission over the CVT (although I would prefer an automatic with less speeds... and, I would love to have a standard transmission).

I have only put 130 miles on the 2023 XLT EB AWD. I am, however, glad I went with this configuration. The only thing I think I would like better is a F-150.

Bottom line: if you are in line for the hybrid and you don't need the AWD or tow package, my suggestion is to stick with it -- you won't be disappointed. I hope this helps. Otherwise, send me a private message and I am happy to discuss it further.

It's a little bit dirty due to all of the rain.

Here are some pictures of the Wet Okole seat covers I had installed on Friday.

I also added Weathertech mud flaps and floor protection. I had also had Line-X install a premium spray in bed liner.

Just a week at the railyard? Mine took a full month plus. Everything was slow, but it did finally arrive. 501 days from when I ordered it to when I had it in my driveway.

Little update, only on my second tank first tank was 575 mi I didn’t know about eco mode. Whoops. Shooting for 650+ next tank. Got the bed cover and mat in. I’ll do the bed liner soon when I have some time and space at my shop

First camping trip with it this weekend, heading to rolex 24hrs at Daytona.
