Yup, having the same disagreement with my SO. Swap Lux package to get AWD+4k Towing to minimize $ difference.

I've now been given the "I want more towing or a different truck". To which I reply:

"What will you be towing that needs 4k?" No real answer except "future proofing".

Well today I got a copy of the new DORA, they screwed it up. How they did it is a mystery but the 500a Lariat had a $3022 price next to it and there was no LUX to be found. $3022 is the price of AWD so it was seriously effed up. Drove down and fixed it in person this time. So now $34915.00

Mine was over Color - I had four colors I wanted: White, HP Red, Alto Blue and CGM - she told me "No Red" so that color was out, then told me that Alto Blue was too "Black", so that color was out, my previous truck was White and my current car is White and her current SUV is White, so we are tried of White - that left the CGM, which is on order. FYI - the CGM (I feel) goes with the XLT interior the best and the black painted wheels on the XLT goes well with the CGM body color. Smooth looking truck!
