Fast Mavericks Brake Upgrade - Questions

First off, this is not a rant or b!tch session post so please be constructive in your replies....

I ordered the brake upgrade from Fast Maverick / Ivan, prior to his issues and dismissal from this community. I did receive the calipers and rotors however pads and most importantly the adapters are missing. His website no longer lists any products and I'm not certain that the contact form is actually being monitored.

Did anyone else order this kit from him and if so, did you receive the items that I'm missing?

Is anyone here actually in touch with him? If so, can you reach out to him on my behalf and ask if he still plans to send out the adapters? I can source pads but without the adapters, I've simply got some fancy paper weights.

Unfortunately I send my calipers to him on good faith because he was going to cut them and send me the brackets and he never did it.

And yes, it appears that Ivan did at some point get at least one set of adapters and did some testing.

Hi Antonio! I was really hoping he'd be able to make a return to the community....

As far as your brake project, are you using the stock sized rotors? That would definitely make things a bit more straight forward. I hope you get it figured out and i'll probably follow you on this one since I am driving mostly on the highway at higher speeds here in Germany. Unfortunately, Nurburgring no longer lets trucks on the track so I won't be making a video with Misha in this one!

I can measure the brembos.... If you're able to gleen the other measurements from that and send over an STL file, I could 3d print it and do some test fitting.....

What happened with him?

He moved from the west coast to the east coast and in the process he left quite a few people hanging in various states of unfulfilled promises and deals. So most of his original threads have been closed for the time being. I don't know the whole story and I don't have any ill will against him hence the request in my opening post to keep this thread constructive. I'm hoping he can get things sorted out and make things right, he was doing some pretty cool and innovative things for the Maverick platform.

The work Ivan Gonzalez, owner and ceo of FastMavericks did on his own Maverick EcoBoost was the inspiration for Ford to create the Lobo.
It's a shame. It appears he's in the wind now.
Good Luck, I wouldn't hold my breath though.

What happened with him?

took a whole lot of orders that he never fulfilled. I would guess anywhere from 100k to over 200k.

hopefully facing fraud charges, but we'll see.
