False Collision Alert?

On my way home driving my XL Hybrid near the house I get a red flashing warning on the instrument cluster telling of an impending problem. The street was clear and there was nothing ahead, behind or to the sides. Any thoughts are appreciated as this was more than a bit unsettling.

Anything on your windshield in front of the rear view mirror? That is where the camera is. It does not like frost or anything on there.

I find my goes off in this situation:
Car in front, down the road, is turning off. I apply brake. Once they have turned off far enough for me, I let off the brake; then it goes off. Guess it doesn’t think I know how to time it; it is wrong

Not a thing on the windshield or mirrors. this is the first time I have had this happen but I only have 600 miles on the vehicle.

I've had this happen a handful of times on our 2020 Escape. Like mentioned before, sometimes a car further down the road and it doesn't like that I'm accelerating. Also happened when hastily pulling into my garage.

Or maybe it's a sign that you're not leaving yourself nearly enough margin, and one of these days it'll catch up with you...

My hybrid has done it twice. Both in the same curve in the road and I guess it thinks the parked cars are in front of me. Only does it when I'm going a little fast.

I hear ya, but there really is more than enough room in front of me, and other car is almost completely out of the “line of sight”. I don’t think it likes the release of brake after being applied a good amount. This is when people make a quick turn off with no blinker.

Had this happen this morning. Car parked on right, car approaching on left. Room in between but it went off.

I’ve had this on Honda, jeep and ford.
ford has the best in my opinion, the Honda will bounce you like you had to collision locking the wheels and all!
This happened once in my maverick on a bright sunny day. Guessing it saw it’s own reflection??

Happened to me at night and only 100 miles on the odometer. Hope a future software update will be provided that addresses this.
