possibly? They're not exactly heavy but they are big. I think 8 lbs is too little unless that doesn't include the box itself.

I was lugging both the sidewalls across the street easily today. They were light but just you know big.

Ok the kit came and it’s the same size as seen in the video demo…just like Xmas though I have to wait to open and install until later…I’d say is was more around 20 pounds but awkward to carry .

So I’ve been installing the OEM dibl and between manually cutting out thick plastic segments for the cubbies and drilling holes for tie downs…I have to say the install is more than I thought it would be. Aside from that though the most problematic issue is the seating of the piece that goes against the cab and it not sitting flush against the cab. I’ve done the full install except for pulling the tape and pressing the cab piece against the cab and the cab piece has tension pulling away from the cab and is at least a half inch gap at the widest part…it appears that at each end of the piece it is pinched by the side pieces and thus bowing the center of the cab piece away from the. Cab…. I’ll try some adjustments and try to pull the side piece back towards the tailgate to see if that helps….
Bottom line is there is cut and f it involved with this and it’s not necessarily a pop it in and go install.

Have the same exact bow on that piece on mine. Just do what it says in the instructions because if the adhesive doesn't fail on you it does seem to hold it flat. Unfortunately for me after a minute or two the adhesive gave out and it popped back into bow form. Think because some dust from the window kept falling while I was applying force and dirtying that area. Plus I didn't clean it with alcohol beforehand either like instructions said.

I hate adhesive, hoping with some 3M tape + adhesive promoter I can fix it or else just live with it.

So knowing I’d have one chance to make it stick me and my wife pulled the strip off and sat in the truck with our backs leaning against that part for at least five minutes to give it the best shot at holding firm against the cab…after three hours it’s still holding and I hope it’s permanent.

Nice, I'll be sure to post in here if using 3M Tape + Promoter serves as a viable replacement to that strip.

So just to follow up.

3M: Double sided tape + Adhesion Promoter works wonders. Wow.
Ended up using it for that bowing piece, the adhesive pad on the motorola wireless android adapter that was also junk adhesive, and even on some windshield clips that hold the dashcam cables.

On the bedliner piece, I just did a light firm push and it was almost like it was welded together instantly lol. So much easier than the included adhesive.

Good to know, if mine breaks loose now I know an option for backup…

I wonder where the drain lines from the hard tri fold tonneau cover would go? It looks like the drain area on the front corners of the bed are closed. @fordvideoguy any ideas?

Does anyone know if the DIBL can be installed on top of the factory SIBL - for added protection ? Would it fit ? Thank you.

Highly doubt it. If you want more protection, toss in a rubber mat to protect the floor.
