Big thank you for this! Seeing that video I’m actually a bit better that my XLT Lux order has DIBL. Seems to be done properly and not intrude into the space too much. Looks like a bed extender may even work if the intrusion is as minimal as shown in that video. Would love to see a “live” picture from someone that actually has this on their Maverick.

It also shows that removing it is not trivial and not sure dealers will be happy to pull off and put in another Maverick. Time will tell.

Having seen this bedliner in person at the SEMA show last November I can say its fit and quality is very impressive. I plan to get one for my own Maverick as for me this is a better outfit than a spray-in bedliner as I had originally planned on.

The question at this point is when will they be available. They have disappeared from the Ford Accessories website and my dealer has no answers. Seems Penda's full production capacity may be heading to the plant in Hermosillo at the moment.

The video below shows it but it takes some work to see.....

Hard to tell from the video if holes for the drain plugs are accessible? A lot of tonneau covers have drip lines that use the drain holes, would be a shame if you cannot use them.

I wonder what the cost is for such a liner. It appears to be a high quality product. If it is cheaper than a spray in liner then this could be done as a DIY project.

Great
I wanted a drop-in liner but it would have delayed my Maverick hybrid.
This morning I got a RINO liner put in
Oh well
I'm happy with it

After watching the installation video and seeing how well it fits inside the bed, I'm considering changing current LUX package with SIBL to the LUX with DIBL, especially considering there's still an ongoing constraint with the LUX SIBL package on Hybrid XLTs. :cautious: 🤔 🤔

When Ford had both listed on the website the drop-in was less expensive than the spray-in, a few hundred dollars if I recall correctly. Not sure if it still is cheaper or not, on the accessory store the drop in is more expensive than if it was done at the factory.

FWIW ... I placed my order yesterday and the XLT Lux package is supposed to come with spray in bedliner but they are now coming with drop-in. I was actually bummed and wanted spray bedliner since I heard something (can't remember what... tonneau cover maybe?) wouldn't fit with drop-in.

Supposedly bed extender won’t fit, and some adjustment of Tonneau rails is required / won’t fit. Have not seen anything concrete - seems to be based on the fact that with DIBL, ford won’t let you order those. If someone has the real facts be great to see posted.

I don't think that is accurate -- I have an XLT on order with a drop in bed liner and tri-fold tonneau cover.

The instructions mention scribing holes for the extender mounts so they may not be strictly incompatible. Ford may just not want to deal with the extra steps of the combination at the factory.
