Fab Four’s Adjustable Rack System

This was in my newsfeed this AM and I found it interesting.

At 1750, an adjustable rack, cover base etc is interesting. It will support 700lbs static and 300lbs of live weight so I can see quite a few uses myself.

The headers are 19 inches high, what’s the height from bed rail to cab top? Everything else is adjustable.

cab height is 68.7, I don’t know the bed rail height.

It's the slope of cab connecting to the bed. But if the front legs/pedestal can be adjusted back just maybe

The side/width rails are completely adjustable, only the pillar height is fixed and there may be more than 1 height as they claim it fits all pickups and I know not all pickups are the same rail to head height.

Somehow it needs some kind of roof rail on the cab.

Looks like it is slightly to large for the Maverick (by less than an inch on width and a couple of inches long, but surprisingly I got an email stating they would be supporting the Mavericks not long after launch. sounds like it is literally just a matter of reducing rail length. As with anything not officially on the market time frame for the altered product is subject to change… yadda yadda

Looks good! However I don't have $1,760 burning a hole in my pocket, and I calculate that a 200 lb rack would reduce my truck's carrying capacity by 200 lbs, if I did the arithmetic correctly.

nakin math confirms that carrying 200 lbs of rack will in fact reduce your carrying capacity by the same

And, I don’t have an additional 1,760 either, but I thought it was cool and figured I’d share it.

now if they want to donate one to the foundation I will be happy to stick their logo on our page and possibly under the clear coat of the DipYour Car coating we have been promised. Plus they get a marketing and charitable deduction

I have not suggested that to them, nor do I suspect they will ever see this post but … /shrug

I'm personally a big fan of Leitner Design's truck racks. We sell a ton of them and boy they are robust. Plus they have a bunch of farkles you can add to it like gear pods, etc. It's going to be really interesting to see how the aftermarket (street and offroad) reacts to the Maverick!
