it is not a question of being dumb, it is slow moving legacy company against nimble and very well financed startups, run by best engineers in the industry. If you look at these startups, see links. You will see impressive innovation while Ford with Maverick going around promoting new places for a water bottle and upholstery.

Well, Ford builds a much better product, look at Tesla, the first 3-4 yrs of the Model S, the fit and Finish were horrible. I'm betting the other start-up will have the same issue.

This might be true but then you will have to account for valuation, or assume everyone is stupid. Note Rivian there.

Using the stock market as a way for validation isn't a good one. Ford has been around and has a proven product. I Had a Tesla fun cars but like I said, the early models were horrible,
