I finally figured out how to fix annoying plastic on plastic rattle as you're going over bumps. It is the driver side defroster vent hitting the upper dash. I've taken it to the dealer once and tried to tell him that's what it was they said there's no way. So I took this right angle screwdriver and slid it in there between the two and they're now there's no more rattles.

It's been a day. Has it popped the windshield yet?
Exactly what I was thinking. Personally I would have gone with something plastic rather than metal. Then again, maybe the additional metal brings the plastic to metal ratio into balance. :sneaky:

No it hasn't fallen out yet and I would have went with something plastic if I had something with a right angle on it but couldn't think of anything. The screwdriver was wide enough where it puts pressure on the defrost vent to push it away from the dash.

Pretty sure some quarter inch foam tape would have the same solution, plus there's no risk of losing a screwdriver and adding a whole brand new rattle and problem to your vehicle.
