Hopefully you go over the dead hybrid issues a lot of folks are experiencing.

Yeah, seems like more and more dead hybrid issues are coming to light.

Tim did address the dead hybrids.
No recall yet but he expects that once they gather more statistics that a recall will be issued.
Apparently a cable needs to be upgraded.

He also confirmed that there is a battery availability issue on Hybrids that is delaying builds and also causing built Mavs to sit there awaiting batteries.
That is likely why my Hybrid went from "built" to "in production" in the tracker.
Not clear how long that delay will be.

I caught that too. Interesting. What I also find interesting is the fact that IMHO this is a serious safety issue. I would never let my wife drive a hybrid until it has been checked and given either a clean bill of health that I can trust or the cable is replaced. I'd prolly be dumb enough to drive it but never a loved one. I also feel if the battery has been discharged to the point of being flatter than a flounder, then it needs to be replaced. Ford needs to step up with that and forget about their battery testing procedures from a 3 ring binder. Talking safety here. My rant is over now. :D

BTW, I am still ordering a '23 Hybrid. Not gonna scare me off that easily. LOL.
