So if I order the 4K Tow Package, it includes among various items:
Upgraded Cooling Fan
Higher Capacity Radiator

So if I order the FX4 Off-Road Package, it includes among various items:
Heavy Duty Engine Cooling Fan
Heavy Duty Radiator

This suggests there are at least three possible engine cooling fans and radiators for the Ecoboost.
- Regular units
- Upgraded/Higher capacity
- Heavy Duty

Is this correct? If so, this adds to parts and assembly complications. Wouldn’t two options be enough? If the are the same units for the 4K Tow and the FX4, why no price break if I order both packages versus someone ordering only one of them?

The "heavy duty one" is the standard one on the EB. It's either the upgraded 4k Variant or the standard one they label as "heavy duty". It's only a name.

I ordered both the 4K tow and the FX4 packages. I wondered about that too but since Ford said it, it must be true and I am expecting to have both the heavy duty and the higher capacity radiators and fans. I am looking forward to seeing how they fit both in there and hook it all up. My engine will then run cold even during a heat wave.
