I used FORscan and enabled Traffic Sign Recognition and it worked great. A week later programmed Lane Keep and it works great but now I have no traffic sign on the dash. It is still on the menu to enable and set speeds but again no Speed sign on the Dash Panel. What up???

I don't remember seeing Lane Keep in the options on the cheat sheet - how did you do this and is there a model configuration needed? I already have the speed sign enabled, so I'll be watching this thread to see if enabling one kills the other.

We're not smart enough to make anything. To busy being pissed off at the world. Maybe if we fund schools to teach not privatize everything for profit.

Here is a copy of the post for Lane Keep assist.
Thank you. Now I'm gonna have to figure out how to replace the stalk. Not very mechanical with this kind of thing, but I'll take a look. $35 is not cost prohibitive enough to give it a shot. I'm assuming the instructions for replacing it are somewhere here as well - time to search.

Edit: Found the thread and it doesn't look difficult at all. I already have what's needed - including the torx. Gonna have to give this one a shot.

More than $35. After doing all this and spending the cash for the stalk and adapter, not sure if its worth it just to say I have more upgrades. It is nice but also a distraction, like many of the other chachki's we pay hundreds to show off.

I just looked up the stalk - $80, and that’s on sale! Not sure it’s worth it at all now. My wife will say it’s absolutely a waste of cash.

Did mine, hoped it would act more like lane centering than it does. Wouldn't bother doing it again.

Cheers.

I'm a new owner just struggling to learn all the tech. What is the "cheat sheet"? Hopefully something better than the manual.

When you changed the LKA you probably changed an option for TSR when you edited it.

People just blindly change Forscan settings without referencing the spreadsheet that shows exactly what is being optioned.

I added LKA, adaptive cruise, lane centering, and then TSR in that order. Everything works as designed, and was so worth it, especially adaptive cruise & lane centering.

LKA still does a decent job if tired and on a highway and drift over the lines I found. But now I just use lane centering.

I know how to use Forscan and reference the spread sheet. Neither of those is the end all be all. You cant just blindly use something that comes from somewhere on the interweb either. Thanks

Probably changed the visual setting for the dash, somehow. We'll see next go around.

Well I figured it out. TSR was disabled in IPC module when programming the Lane Keep Assist. Enabled that and everything works. Program the LKA first then the TSR and both work no problem.

To all those that are misinformed that you must do programming thru the Asbuilt Modules, not true! You can program using the plain module. No codes needed, just change settings. I've attached the TSR programming as an example.

Yes, what you did was use someone's code who did not have TSR enabled w/ LKA. I'm guessing you edited the IPC (720). Using the spreadsheet you can see the options:

Ford Maverick Enabled Traffic Sign Recognition and after Lane Keep.....A problem, Help!!! slif

That was probably something else when you copied over the code initially.

Yes you can use the EZ function to change it back. It will look at what else you have selected and then change it to the appropriate code required, nothing more. Because of that I used that method as well when I changed it on mine.
