It makes sense because if I wait until after August 2nd to follow up then I missed the "special offer", if my dealer had the VIN he was not letting me know but he is just telling me that it has been scheduled.
August 2nd is a month away...........

So no it doesn't make sense.
Either:
- Your dealer screwed up and never put your order in
- Your order is scheduled and will be built as a 2022
- Your dealer is lying and it is not scheduled so it rolls over to a 2023

So why would you wait until after August 2nd? Be standing at your dealer on Tuesday and make them show you what is happening. If you got scheduled then your truck is getting built.

If you are scheduled and have a VIN, you will get built. I don't even know how to respond to the suggestion they are scheduling Mavericks they can't produce. That's not how this works.
What I am saying is that the dealer is the one that informed me it was scheduled. He could be messing with me to miss the August 2nd date to reschedule for 23 my and lose my "special offer" I have read about some pretty shifty dealers!!

Why would I want to remove cp30 if they are going to schedule!
Do you have a vin? I got my vin from my dealer and was able to see that I’m scheduled for the week of august. Make sure you get a vin. Your dealer tells you that you’re scheduled but provided no VIN? Doesn’t make sense to me.

Call the Ford Dealer today and tell the sales manager you want a screenshot showing your order with your date. My Sales manager sent be that, WITH the VIN. If he says he can't then I would suggest you suggest to him you are wondering if he told you the truth about a date because if there really was one good customer care would be willing to send that screen shot to help a customer.

If door #3 is correct then you need to be at your dealer on Tuesday. Ask to see the VIN so you can track it's progress. I do not know how much delay there is between 'scheduled' and having a VIN issued. It might be minutes or a few hours or a few days. Throw in the holiday weekend and maybe that is your answer. All i'm saying is you have 30 days, no need to panic. No need to think your dealer is shifty, yet. I firmly believe in "trust but verify". I trust everybody to do the right thing until they don't.
