Stubby antenna may help. I stack our two paddleboards, 11' and 12', and then offset them to the drivers side. So no, issues with the stock antenna but I got the stubby... just because :)

Hello. I am hoping that someone who has the Elevate CS rack system can answer the question, does this bed rack clear the antenna when positioned in the lowest setting? It is difficult to tell from photos whether it does. I plan to put a roof top tent on the rack and it will extend over the cab and antenna. Any information folks are willing to share is appreciated.

It’s about 1/2 inch below the top of the shark fin at the lowest height.

Hey everyone!
Im, the Alex referred to as reaching out for special pricing!
This rack will work with any flush mount hard folding/rolling cover and any flush mount soft roll-up
These bars are fully able to be put in any position along the bed and are fully removable if you choose. They also come with tie-down cleats if you buy the rack and rail combo, needed if you dont have a cover like the RetraxPRO/ONE XR that has t-slots built-in

Reach out to me and I can get you a great deal on this AND a cover to pair it with if you don't have one already!

Hi, I already have the hard tri fold cover. I just don't have the truck yet. I'll be using it mostly for canoes. I've been waiting 15 months so far I don't think I ordered the rails unless they came with the lux package. How much are the racks?

I'm try to decide between this system and a Thule roof setup. I already have a few Thule roof rack attachments, like a bike rack and kayak holders, that worked with the Thule wing bars from my car. Do you guy who have the Elevate system know if those will work with the TruXedo bars? I love to go with the bed rack, for the superior weight handling, and not having to worry about damaging the weather stripping for the doors using the Thule setup.

Can anyone confirm that a hard folding tonneau, such as BakFlip MX4, can be folded while elevate rack is in the lowest (18 in) position?

Cheers!

It can be folded but not the last fold against the cab. I have the Ford OEM trifold which I believe is a Ford badged Bakflip G2 and the same size as the MX4, and the last fold hits at the low setting.

I have 20 yr old Thule setup that would not fit. I haven’t looked further into it yet but I expect there is some way to make it work.

My setup is only 7 year old aeroblades, but given that the 53 inch bars aren't wide enough to work with the fit kit for the Maverick they are useless now. If I went with a fixed roof install, which I also don't like the sound of, drilling holes in the roof of the truck just sounds like asking for leaks, I'm sure I could use them. Factory systems are known getting leaks, at least some of them, and I'm sure third party is no better.

In any case, I really don't like the door frame mounting system much anyway. I'm far more interested in knowing the width and thickness of the bars for TruXedo so I can see if my attachments will still work. I cannot find any information on that on TruXedo's website.

Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and was hoping you could help me out. was wondering how you guys got ahold of alex for a discount and if any of you have managed to position the rack closer to the cabin but higher, so that the last fold clears the rack. Has anyone tried this configuration before? I understand that things might slide off, but I'm looking to transport a ladder and possibly install hooks and locks for added support and security. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Tri-fold covers will not clear in either position, due to the design of the support posts. When I first put them on I had the rack as far forward and back as possible, as per the installation instructions.

I got ahold of him and chatted via email, but he always responds to PMs here on the forum as well. [email protected]
