I bought a Maverick inMarch 2025, in the 4 months I've had 3 dead batteries and two warning batteries are low or will not charge. The dealership had said that there may have been an issue with the program on the AC that was reinstalled. When the battery was last tested only 80%, they did replace it.
I've noticed that at times, well after the truck has been turned off, I will see some of the dashboard lights on. I tried to hit the lock button again but they remain on. I then start the truck and turn it off again, they go out. Whenever I turn the truck off I ait and look to make sure the dashboard lights are off. But sometimes they seem to come on by themselves, I assume this has been what is causing the battery drain.
The dealership had looked at but can find the problem or solution.
Based on your article do you have any ideas? I've attached a photo of the dashboard I've taken when I noticed the lights. This picture was taken about an hour after the truck was turned off. Anyone else having this problem any ides?
