Nope, those operate on the electrical system. No power? They don't work. There is a manual override on the side of the door that works with the physical key. I am not talking about the key lock on the outside of the door. I can only assume it's there for when there is no 12v power. So that's why there are TWO lock buttons/toggles on each door!!! Dang!!!

Edit: Okay, yes, what I was looking at was the Lariat with smart key only.I am talking about the manual lock,/unlock lever next to the manual door open lever.
There is a manual locking lever next to the door unlatch on each door that does not require power to function. As far as locking truck...
Ok, I'll wake up eventually. Here is my lariat key fob with emergency key removed. There is a release button with two raised ridges on it push in and pull key outEdit: Okay, yes, what I was looking at was the Lariat with smart key only.
Check lariat key fob. Has emergency keyMy hybrid engine went completely dead on me. At dealership now for two weeks. Fob controls EVERYTHING so I could not even lock my truck! Tried other fob first, thinking fob was dead. Replaced battery and still dead. Only 8500 miles on Maverick and it’s completely dead. Two electrical recalls on Maverick hybrid. Don’t find yourself stranded like I did. Get your recall repairs. Seems like a design flaw to me if you cannot even secure your vehicle.
