Electrical Connectors under the Bed

I'm thinking Fluid Film might be good to spray on connectors? Supposed to be safe for that from what I've read.

It is and it is safe as it is not a petrol based product but a lanolin based product. Fluid Film also makes a Gel version for the direct spray areas that works great so far for me. It is holding up great but in all fairness I have driven my truck very little this winter.

The wires are in water pack connectors. If there not damaged or played with they will remain water tight. The connectors will be expose to pressure washes in a car wash. You can use a pressure washer with a wide angle spray pattern to clean. Don't use a narrow nozzle.

If you're worried about keeping water out, I use this:

Bond It F4 Emergency Self-Fusing Silicone Tape, Repair Plumbing Pipe & Radiator Hose Leak, Electrical Insulation, Permanent Bonding, Waterproof, 1" x 36' x 20mil, Black: Electrical Tape: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

F4 tape is used on USAF aircraft, and it is awesome. It only sticks to itself and to get it off you will need some sort of cutting tool. Make sure the connection you are taping is dry and wrap it up with this. It doesn't come off and it is waterproof.

. . . .I compare my Maverick to a Taco all the time. My Maverick is a great truck. Tacomas are gas guzzling over weight over priced under powered rolling slugs.

These are not water resistant nor watertight. Rear brake lights stopped working. Brought into dealership. $1000 to repair it - tech just hardwired it. The truck is 2.5 years old and subject to Southern Ontario winters. Shame on you Ford.
