What are “6 D-Link bed connectors”

I see them listed on Preview Order sheets but have never seen a description on the ‘22 build feature on Ford website or the ‘23 packaging guide. I thought they were a cargo tie down feature but D-Link is an electronics company so it’s unclear to me what this option is.

$225 for the Maverick set of 6 vs $75 for 6 of the Toyota version. Hmmm

Thanks for all the clarification and recommendations. I had them on my order but will remove them as well as the spray in bedliner before the order gets scheduled….or should I say IF?

You should remove any unnecessary constraint items that are easy to install yourself to maximize the odds of your order being scheduled and not unnecessarily delayed. At least that's the strategy I'm doing with my Lariat Hybrid build I hope will be built sometime this century.

That was my intention and I also ordered remote start but that can be done on FordPass or Perimete+.
I was wondering about removing it as well but I don’t recall it being a constraint so waffling on that one.

$225? Are you talking about the '61D Bed Tie Down Locking Rails'? That isn't just D-rings like jsus and paneubert are linking, but the extruded aluminum tracks and locking positional cleats mounted to the side of the bed that used to be part of the Luxury Packages.

Yeah this. If it's the track system it's nice and prob worth $225. You can DIY a lot cheaper this but it's kind of a PITA.

Although that option technically is a constraint item now except I don't know if it is that big of one. Ford says they expect 40% of builds to have it, but I believe that also factors what they expect the rate is that people will option it.

That’s what I was expecting but on the preview order it ‘s called out differently as 6 D-Link bed connectors

The different trims do also get different amounts of included rings in the bed. IIRC XLs have 6 by default and XLT/Lariat have 10. The 'bottle openers' on the sides of the tailgate are counted as 2.
