Electric Power

At 70 mph my electric power meter shows 20%, is this normal ? I would think it should be zero. Have 600 mi. on it.

We can't really see the electrical status. I usually keep the EV?Hybrid coah screen up with the little power bar display. Mine will run in EV mode at 70 if the grade is level to slightly down-hill and not asking too much of climate control.

Do you mean the analog gauge on the left side of the instrument cluster, or the bar in the small LCD panel in the middle? If you mean the analog gauge that is total combined power, not just electric power. If you are talking about the hybrid coach, yes any time it is in hybrid mode (gas+electric) it can and will use the electric motor to provide power to the wheels.

It generally always has an electric assist (the electric motor supplies a lot of torque). As the other poster said it’s total power.

I didn't think about that, will try it. Still have to learn all of the trouble I can get into.

I believe XL will have Hybrid Coach. You need to go into setting for the center dash screen and choose which items are important to you...you will not be allowed to have them all apparently! Just select EVCoach and it will be one of your screens you can scroll to.

After going to that my view page push the menu button and click on the ev coach.
