Have the eibach lowering kit on my Mav. Eco with awd. They started making some noise on slow turns, like a clunking or binding sound. Saw someone else here suggest to call them. Sent them my info from the springs and waiting to hear back. While taking a picture of that info from the springs I noticed it looks like the spring is rubbing against metal on the inside of the spring/strut. Anyone ever noticed this or have any ideas/thoughts. Passenger side was jacked up to take this picture but I’m sure that’s where the spring rests when is on the ground

There are 2 springs. All kits being produced now will have the corrected spring design, but it's possible some reseller has stale inventory, or you bought them before the redesign was shipping.

Do yours look like this? I've never heard / seen anyone trace the noise to a contact point like that, but I know that people have complained of noise with the original ones.

I bought these back in April/may of this year so I have a feeling they are the old version.

Yep, have the plastic cover. Now I’m just curious why it’s rubbing the body

Good to know I’m not the only one. Eibach confirmed I have the old version of springs and are sending out the new ones. I’ll have to swap them out and see if it’s still happening
