Editing order worries - will it change my spot in line?

Ordered 10/30/21… thinking about making a change to my order. It does not change my “spot” in line correct? Won’t cause any issues?

I ordered mine on 11/15, and it's been sitting in Priority 10. This week, I changed the color and some of the dealer installed items which won't be ordered until the vehicle is built. According to the dealer sales manager, these changes didn't mess up my 'place in line'.

Check with fordvideoguy he has recently said (I believe in his video #17) that some changes may move your order date to the date you make the change.

I can confirm that this is true but I think it depends on what options you want to add.

I originally ordered on 6/24 but was forced to change my order from FWD to AWD on 8/16. I have two confirmation emails from Ford and two DORAs from the dealer both with the same order code but different dates.

When I was Scheduled for Production and received my VIN Fords tracking system states that my order was placed on 8/16 not my original order date of 6/24.

If this sounds confusing I can post pics. I saved everything including all paperwork from my dealer and emails sent from Ford.
