I was going to say that's way too short of a timeline for it to be in PA already. It WILL get stuck in the Chicago area anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks, that's just the nature of the beast. I think they stockpile transit rail cars until they have enough to make financial sense to send a load out to Delaware. FWIW mine got stuck in Chicago for over a week and then got stuck at the rail head in Delaware for almost a week. Good luck! After reading all your posts, I had no idea I could get the info from Ford chat. So, I just did Chat and got some information, but not what I wanted to hear. See if you all can make sense of this mess:
11/07/22 - Received my "shipped" email at 4am
11/10/22 - Text my dealer on Nov 10, asking for rail info and they told me it had "arrived at a Pennsylvania Junction yard, however no rail car information."
11/18/22 - via ford chat - "Your vehicle was received in Burnham, IL on 11/18/22."
WTH is it doing in IL? I live in DE. She confirmed my VIN and dealer and she stated that my truck "should not have to go through PA unless it's going to backtrack".But then where does she think Burnham, IL is?? It's further west and North from PA!
She did say it was "transported via Norfolk Southern Corp, but no convoy carrier or rail car number was noted."
Why does no one have my rail car info?Ugh, so disappointed to hear this today.
I have not whined about any of this until now - I hit my wall. LOL![]()
