Yes, this. Ask them for your railcar number from either VinView or the Secondary Visibility Report. Depending on the rep, they sometimes need a little pointing in the right direction.

Had some time this morning before the Holiday festivities started so wanted to try out the Railcar tracking process. I called both the UP and NS numbers to see what I would get. Members weren't wrong when they said the automated voice speaks fast and is hard to understand!

UP: Loaded train departure on 11/24 at 643am CD(?) industrial; no ramp information
NS: Flat car departed 11/24 at 543am from Hermosillo undefined(?)

Hope everyone can enjoy left-overs today here in the States! I find it very interesting the amount of information available during this ordering process and am thankful for the forum members for sharing information.

I called both UP and NS help lines again this morning and found it interesting that each one provides different pieces of the puzzle:

UP: Train arrival 333pm Port Wilmington, DE on 12/9 10am, origin CD(?) industrial
NS: Intermediate arrival on train Nogales, Mexico on 11/24, 233pm

It looks like your Ford 2022 Maverick is in Transit. Latest update is that it's anticipated to be delivered at your ordering Ford Dealership between Dec-21--27-2022. It's on Railcar # TTGX706524 (Ferrocarril Mexicano S.a. De C.v. ).

That is great news! Around here they are asking $10K in ADM, and they seem to get it. Having AWD will probably come in handy where you live.

The EcoBoost is really, really fun to drive IMHO and still gets great gas mileage.

How are you all getting your rail car information from Ford Chat? Is there a magic phrase I need to utter?

Every time I have asked for this, they tell me the only thing they can say is that the vehicle is in Transit. One of the reps was able to tell me when the truck was in Nogales, but they won't give me any more information since then.

pandamancer, I had the same issue, it took me 3 times to get them to give me the rail car number. No idea why. Keep asking, hopefully you will get it eventually.

My update:
My truck was delivered to Port of Wilmington yesterday at 3pm!! I am 6 miles from my Mav! Wish I could just go drive it away. lol The NS automated tracker said "Notification ground only". I read on the MachE forum that that means it has been placed at the facility for unloading. Hopefully it will be unloaded and placed on a truck soon. It only has to go 11 miles to my dealer.

That forum also said that you can track the carrier trucks if you sign up for tracking on United Road. I tried and they said they no longer allow consumers access, it is now only for dealers. They must be sick of Ford's customers signing up. lol

MyRail Car was at the Doremus Rail Auto Depot in Newark, NJ for a few days. I kept checking the rail car… yesterday I checked, and it was back in Ohio, so clearly my Little Blue Truck is on the ground. Only 20 minutes away from my dealer. FORD ETA is 12/2 - 12/8… so I’m getting excited.

My truck spent the Thanksgiving holiday at various depots in the Chicago area. From the updates I get the impression the rail car may have been transferred from Union Pacific to Norfolk Southern at some point. I'm hopeful it will now continue its journey eastward and will be at the final rail yard in Wil.ington, DE, sometime next week.
