I was lucky to score what I think is the best looking engine cover for the Ecoboost. This is no longer made, and very hard to find. I bought 6 more which are already spoken for but when I posted on FB groups there seems to be interest for it.

Ford Maverick Ecoboost Engine Cover 9EDD2252-CFEC-42C5-9F52-633C0C758DF3

it’s a perfect fit and works with catch cans (my kit, not sure others) I spoke with 3 different manufacturers, 2 of who make OEM covers. I plan on having a large batch made if there’s enough interest. For reference, I got mine used for $150 and the one new one was $370 not including shipping.

It mounts with 3 snap on pegs and one bolt and nut. It’s a foam type material so it’s light weight. The Ford Performance emblem is attached from the back but I plan to make them with no emblem but leave the blank recessed area. That way we can have different badge options.

- Ford Performance
-Ford Maverick
- Ecoboost
-ST Performance (if you want) 😬

I don’t know the cost yet but should in a couple days. I’d like to be under $250 including the emblem and mounting hardware but that will depend on the amount we order.

So if you’re interested please post up and I’ll do my end. In a perfect world our Christmas gifts will be easy but I dont know yet.

so let’s start a list and I’ll update you as I get news. Thanks.

Just don't know if I am sold on putting a cover on an engine when for some reason Ford didn't put one on. Was it just to save money or did a test show a cover caused more heat retention than they wanted under certain conditions? Anyone out there know for sure???

I'm sure it's a heat retention issue for the Maverick, our Ranger has one on the 2.3, but has alot more room in engine compartment.

I can guarantee it's because they want to save a few bucks. Many manufacturers are doing it. The Jeep Grand Cherokees only come with the cover for the higher end models. Both my 22 Lincoln Corsair as well as my Lariat came without the cover. Both now wear the Lincoln engine cover.

I'd like one. It would help with engine noise. It doesn't cover the HPFP, but it does the valve/cam cover. So a little help.

Well the good news is they would be under $200 shipped

Bad news is tooling is $25k lol

The search continues. I need to find the company that made these originally that would have the CAD file or mold.

With the Escape cover being discontinued I would think there would be plenty of interest. I would like to have one.
