I filled up at $4.29/gallon for regular yesterday and felt that was a deal. Since most places around here are 40-70 cents higher. Luckily it's a once a month expense at most since I went back to wfm. Nonetheless, I'm very thankful I don't live one state west. Cali prices are insane!

California, due to geography and other issues, is mostly separated from the rest of the country's gasoline infrastructure. (pipelines, refineries, logistics systems for fuel, etc.)

With all the sun, a perfect test case for "green" energy and EV's.. How has that been going out there?

I was watching an episode of CHIPS the other day & in the background gas price signs read 49 cents, at that time(1977) they were priced the same as the rest of the USA. I can't imagine paying $7 for a gallon of fuel, but I am sure it is coming in the future.

I live in the Inland Empire in So. Cal. I paid $4.99 last night at Sam's Club. Sadly, I was very happy to get it at that price. It's a different world in this state!

Wow premium is only 20 cents more?

Yeah, here in Florida, premium is about 65 cents a gallon more. Almost $8 more for a 12-gallon fill-up.
