There was a recall for trailer lights not working.Have you checked to see if you have a recall? I know some MY23 Maverick's with 4k tow were recalled for issues with the rear lights.

Bummer. I'll have to keep an eye on it. If it happens again, I think I'll need to convince the dealership to recreate and eventually replace the BCM.
it was 10 degrees F when this happened to meNot THAT cold. Maybe mid 40's.
So far no repeat. It was right at freezing this morning and it seemed to work fine. I do have all my stock bulbs in a drawer somewhere, so if it happens again I might swap them back out. But I doubt it is the bulbs.it was 10 degrees F when this happened to me
It's not the LED bulbs. When I had the issue, I put back my original OEM bulbs and it still didn't work.So far no repeat. It was right at freezing this morning and it seemed to work fine. hopefully the OP still has his original bulbs, otherwise I could see the average Ford tech looking at that, blaming the bulbs, and doing no further troubleshooting. It's not the LED bulbs. When I had the issue, I put back my original OEM bulbs and it still didn't work.
If I do end up taking it in (it hasn't occurred again, so crossing my fingers), I will put the stock bulbs back in.hopefully the OP still has his original bulbs, otherwise I could see the average Ford tech looking at that, blaming the bulbs, and doing no further troubleshooting.
might as well replace them then bring it in.
I do wonder if the "turn signal bulb outage" recall that was recently issued would fix this issue as well. Still don't want to get the recall done, since I like my LED bulbs and don't like to listen to a hyperflash "ticking" noise coming from the dash even when the bulbs aren't actually hyperflashing.....Mine is not working again. Started on the coldest day this year so far. Temp was only 29 degrees F.
I'll let the dealer know next time I go in. Maybe that recall will help - but my instinct says is something totally different.I do wonder if the "turn signal bulb outage" recall that was recently issued would fix this issue as well. Dumb question, but do you get a notification saying they are out or did you happen to somehow notice they are out ?I'll let the dealer know next time I go in. Maybe that recall will help - but my instinct says is something totally different.
For me, I did not get any sort of notice. I often wait with my kids at the bus stop, leaving my truck running while we are out at the stop with the other neighborhood kids. One day I noticed one side was "out" when I glanced back at my truck. That is when I tried all the troubleshooting where I had someone watch while I pressed the brake pedal (lights came on just fine), tried the turn signals (lights came on just fine), etc....Dumb question, but do you get a notification saying they are out or did you happen to somehow notice they are out ?
No notification. I notice when I use my remote and unlock the car one side tail lights (right side) no work. But when you hit the brake pedal they light up.Dumb question, but do you get a notification saying they are out or did you happen to somehow notice they are out ?
The cold weather is definitely what triggered it. My guess is some wire harness is affected by the extreme cold.No notification. I notice when I use my remote and unlock the car one side tail lights (right side) no work. But when you hit the brake pedal they light up.
