From what ive read you don't want to run a full tank of E85. Run a blend of E85 and Premium. So states 93 Octane is available out of the pump. In my area we can only get 91. So 4 gallons of E85 and then top the tank off with premium and you get 93 octane. Also 4 Gallons of E85 at a $2.30 per gallon makes the fillup way cheaper.

You should not use any E85! In a stock EcoBoost!

I noticed earlier that you mentioned you have a tuner on the truck. Is it tuned for that ethanol blend? If so, cool, keep having fun. If not, it might be a bad idea...

If you want to run full E85 on your 2.0L EcoBoost, you cannot just pour it into the tank. The factory fuel system isn't designed for it, and you'll hit a "lean" condition very quickly because E85 requires about 30% more fuel volume to maintain the correct air-fuel ratio.

Here is the breakdown

1. The Hardware Limitation

• Fuel Injectors: The stock injectors on the 2.0L EcoBoost do not have the flow capacity to handle full E85. When you go wide-open throttle, the injectors will "max out" (they can't open wide enough or long enough to deliver the required fuel), causing the engine to run dangerously lean. This is a one-way ticket to engine damage.
• Fuel Pump: While some tuners say the stock High-Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) can sometimes keep up for basic E85 or E30 blends, it’s often a bottleneck. Most professional setups for "full" E85 will upgrade the injectors first, and often the pump as well, to ensure you have plenty of overhead.

2. The "Tune" Is Non-Negotiable
Even if you upgraded every single piece of hardware—injectors, pump, and lines—you cannot run E85 without a custom tune.

• The ECU (computer) needs to know the exact ethanol content to adjust the ignition timing and fueling.
• If you just swapped the parts and didn't tune it, the computer would still be trying to calculate fuel based on gasoline parameters, and the truck would run terribly (if it ran at all).

3. The "Middle Ground" (E30)

Many people in the EcoBoost community don't go to "full" E85 for this exact reason—the cost and complexity of the fuel system upgrades. Instead, they run an E30 blend (mixing roughly 3 gallons of E85 with 7 gallons of 93-octane gas).

• This gives you the knock-resistance benefits of ethanol (allowing for more timing/power) without needing to replace the injectors or the pump.
• Even for E30, you still need a custom tune optimized for that specific blend

Ecoboost and E85 do not mix. The AFR will bee way too lean, E85 need a much richer AFR to burn. The only way is by custom tuning.

Recommending a Hybrid to a gentleman who owns a tuned & modified Lobo?

The OP’s title of “Drive it like you stole it” means driving recklessly fast with utter disregard for the owners manual or warranty.

If you save a few dollars making your own homemade “go fast” blend of fuel - that is like killing 2 birds with one stone.
