Sounds like you are familiar with this. I wonder if this would cause drifting & how much tire wear & which tires or tire according to the printout?
Sorry, can't help you with that. I'm not an alignment tech, I just understand how to read degrees, decimals, and range tolerances.

Hope you get this worked out. HRG

Thanks, Ford says don't worry about it. Multiple recalls, 12v battery replaced already, rear end out, drifting. Ford needs to do something, I waited almost a year to get Ford Maverick order, came in October of 23, I got it about when the 24s were coming out.

Caster on front passenger side is forward of the left side. That said, right side pushes harder with more caster which makes it pull to the right. Done hundreds of alignments.

Thanks, does the alignment report I put up show something that I can show Ford. I would assume they would know. I have had 2 different Ford dealers do alignments & first 1 done at a private brake & alignment business I had used for a while. Just got in from getting Thai food & drove on highway about 3 miles holding wheel but still felt no difference in drift after 2-3 minutes.

Left is 4.5 and right is 4.8 and this will cause it to drift right. The right wheel is actually angled ahead of the left causing more resistance.

I don't know how to read alignment reports. If you were me, what would you tell them. Where should those numbers be?
Thanks

Looks like your rear axle is tweaked, have you hit curbs or been involved in fender benders?

Take it to a good bodyshop. They've dealt with hundreds of cars that have bent suspension from crash damage. They probably have access to shims that will put it back within spec and get it driving straight again. Or they'll put it on the frame machine and straighten it out. This is bread and butter for them

No accidents, no curbs. Don't know if that's making the drift or enough to wear tires. Vehicle only has 31,000 miles on it. Any idea what that would cast at a body shop?

As they told you, the problem child is the right rear. While the toe-in of .55 degrees is just within the spec of .69, the entire range allowed is nearly 4 times that of the adjustable front axle. With no means of adjustment, Ford has blown the spec so far open to make sure rear axles are within spec, tire wear be damned. The "total" toe-in amount (both sides) of .60 is above the spec range (.58), but again, no way to adjust and bring into spec.

Thanks for the info. Could shims like EZ Red shims be used to bring it back. Would these numbers cause road drift?

Did you buy your truck new or used?
Has did you notice this from day one of owning your truck?
I bought new, noticed drifting from the start but mild, about 6 months later noticed tire wear. Took it for a front end alignment at a private business I used, they told me back end was out & can't be aligned, they gave me the specs. but didn't think that caused the drifting & tire wear. front end was out a little. Went to Ford about 6 months later about drifting & a thump sound on some bumps rarely. They said replace tires bring in for alignment & they will check it out. Found nothing. Was still drifting, they it was fine. 3 months later took back to Ford where I bought it. They said they felt drifting & were able to replicate sound. They changed front left strut. No difference, they changed front right strut no difference, 3 weeks later they changed front right ball joint, said it had side motion hard to detect. Sound gone, drifting stayed. Told me take back to first Ford dealer and ask to realign. Got done, still drifts. Took back where I bought it & they checked alignment & said sensor takes 45 seconds to compensate for drifting with both hands on wheel & back wheel was out but just in spec.

Wayne,
Thank you for your reply
Sorry you had to repeat what you had already posted. Once I read your reply, I remembered reading you had bought the truck new and then paid $360 for alignments in your original post.
I wonder if there is a way to check the trueness/ straightness of your rear axle. I think it may be tweaked a little bit. I realize that you bought your Maverick brand new but there are certain circumstances where there can be damage done during transport. The dealership can have it repaired but does not have to disclose it. Generally it's limited to cosmetic defects.
You may want to have the physical axle checked.

I interpret the statement about how the compensation works being that the truck only compensates for drift when over 25 mph AND BOTH HANDS ARE ON THE WHEEL. Not just during the 45 second time which figures out the amount of compensation is necessary. I would suggest checking tread depth variations between tires. When I was checking Michelin web site for the primacy tires on my 22 lariat, it was recommended to check tread wear and rotate tires periodically, rotating if uneven wear detected expecting rotation every 4 to 6k miles or possibly sooner. You might also try adding air to the passenger front and see what happens???
