Had severe damage on inner door panel dealer did not spot IT....I did....It was replaced....If you don't document the damage prior to signing the paper work and driving off it is yours to fix. The dealers are required to inspect them (what they can do quickly) on delivery and put damage on the delivery sheet to go back against the transport company.
Some say the interior scratches when a mosquito lands on it so get used to it.
I had a Jeep with damaged fender flare and hard top by the truck transport but it was delivered at 4:00 in the morning and a security guard signed it in so the dealer pulled parts off a stock unit so I wouldn't have to wait for weeks for replacement/repairs.
