Kinda like having a manual transmission. Some folks have no idea what the 3rd pedal is for.
I've been driving manual transmissions since 1991, after I had a Mazda transmission crap out on me. Never again! Getting the Maverick as a compromise. My husband hates driving my MT when we're stuck in traffic situations.

I had it on my 08 Altima
Didn’t have it on my 2014 F150
Have it on my 2011 Prius
Don’t have it in my Wife’s 14 Versa

I also had it on nearly all military vehicles Ive driven. Hint: A LOT!

So I have to disagree.
I'm with you. It nice but not a deal breaker and was not worth 1k dollars

Once you have it there is no going back. Not having to fumble with keys is extremely convenient. It is a must have on all future vehicle purchases for me.
not for me. 1st and only experience with it is my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee I bought new. I hate big key fobs with buttons on them in my pocket! Frequently triggers door locks or panic alarm when I'm working in the yard and such. Batteries have short lifetime and are expensive and PITA to replace. Turning OFF the car with push button has a delay that keyed ignitions don't have. My wife's 2014 Subaru doesn't have push button start, our 2018 F-150 Doesn't have it and thankfully my Maverick won't have it. (y)

Didnt know about no rear window defrost or no push button start
And these are deal breakers for you? Have you ever had a truck with a rear defroster? They aren't as necessary as a car or SUV with a steep rake plus the smaller cabin will heat up quicker.

Really? We're nitpicking push button start?

Cancel. Just cancel and go find something that has both of these....

Actually I have a colorado now and use the defrost quite frequently in the winter

Sounds like a bad implementation of push button start. My 2018 Subaru turns off instantly when I press the button. My fob battery took over 3 years before I got a warning on the dash saying it was getting low. $5 and 2 minutes to replace the battery. Well worth never having to fumble with keys in a door or ignition IMO.

I got away from manuals when I got in my 50's. Kinda lost the fun factor to me. Oh and I got lazy.

Push button start is awesome. I am surprised it is not standard on all trims!

I am surprised the rear defroster is not standard. Heated mirrors are not really necessary but rear defroster is necessary (IMHO) for those who live in the upper Midwest and the Northeast.

I understand the desire for rear defrosters.

Push button start is tremendously overrated.
I agree, company truck i drive has it and i misplace the keys just about every time i drive it. Would rather just put the key in the ignition and not lose track of them.

How much time a year do you spend "fumbling for the key?"

I like the push button start in the Accord but not having it in the Maverick will not make me dislike the truck.

If you live somewhere that the window ices up if the truck sits for a while, I can see that being a big PITA if you have to scrape the window every time you go somewhere.
