Does this shipping estimate sound accurate?

It seems like the Mavericks are put on trains from Mexico and switched to various other rail lines to get to us. Up here in New England, there might be more transfers, and I think NH has less rail service than us NE corridor areas. Mine took about 3 weeks to get here, RI. It's at the Dealer!

Mine got here (central Florida) a little earlier than forecast, but your timeframe sounds plausible. Could get there earlier though.

I suspect that the rail portion of the shipment is very quick, but then it will have to stop at various shipping yards to get redirected. This might be just disconnecting the rail car and reconnecting it to a train heading your way if all the vehicles on that car are heading to your region but I suspect that it is more likely that the car gets unloaded into the yard, then reloaded on a different train, first come first serve. This means it gets in line behind any other vehicle already at the yard and heading your way. At some point it will get unloaded, then transferred to a car carrier. I would expect the car carrier to travel fully loaded, so if only 7 cars are heading to dealers in your part of NH, and the carrier holds 10 cars, then they will wait for a full load.

Ford's default ETA is generally 4 to 6 weeks to accommodate all sorts of things from weather to reroutes to backed up destination terminal yards, rail line congestion, last-mile yard backlogs, etc.

I posted in another thread how I have consistently experienced my vehicles arriving a week or more before the Ford Tracker date, as well. If what my dealership said this morning is actually the ETA date at DIxiana, mine may be here before the end of this week even though the Ford Tracker ETA is 5/20 to 6/2. (VINView noted "Terminal Arrival 5/11" according to the sales tower guy, but is that really the ETA or next terminal stop date? I am not sure, but hope its final destination, not next destination somewhere before it gets here). They usually get vehicles same day or next day because of how close they are.

A bit slow. My dealer is in Nashua NH; my Truck was built on March 26th and Ford estimated it would be at the dealer by May 2nd. It was at the railyard in MA somewhere around April 14th and was delivered to the dealer on April 19th.

Mine shipped 4/26, ETA in Rochester, NY 5/5-5/18. I worked for Ford a number of years ago, and these figures were rarely accurate, due to Conrail and their antiquated systems. Hopefully, they've been improved upon.

At least you know it is homeward bound. That is better than so many who have heard nothing. I am in TX and mine took about two weeks, but obviously much closer than you. Congrats on having a Maverick headed your way.

Considering you're almost at the most distant point in the contiguous US from the factory, 5 weeks doesn't seem unreasonable or unexpected. When I had my 2013 C-Max built back when supply chain issues weren't a thing, they told me roughly 6 weeks from start of production to delivery (Michigan factory to Las Vegas delivery). I think it ended up being 7 weeks on the nose.
