I placed 2024 XLT Hybrid order on July 17th 2023 with Huntington Ford , Long Island .
Does Ford email me or the dealership Vin number and delivery schedule .

You will get updates from Ford if they have your email.

Either that or no one will. My dealership never gave me updates and screwed up the email they gave to ford. I had to call ford and ford gave me all the info I needed over the phone to track my order.

I received 4 up dates from Ford and both notified me about the build date. Dealer called me when it was on the way and when to pick it up.

If you got an intial order email then you should be getting an email when you have a VIN and build date. If not, you can always reach out to Ford support chat with your Order no. and Sales no. and they can tell you if you've been scheduled or not.
