Do you have a drop in bed liner, and if so, have you washed your truck lately?

No bed liner. No cats or dogs. Liquid had evaporated couple of hours after I saw it. Best guess is condensation from exhaust system after fairly short trip, even though it was second time I used it today. Thanks

Will,
I tried replicating your picture with a piece of wire hanging down from the mufflers weep hole. I also added water.
Bear in mind, water splashes when it hits and also will run depending upon the slope of the surface and texture.

Doesn't say a lot for the long life of the muffler if you use the truck on short trips alot where the moisture is not burned off, huh?

The Hybrid has a gizmo mounted to exhaust pipe upstream of the muffler meant to extract heat towards the battery in cold weather.
Not sure it that would produce condensation in the muffler…

Any time I wanna know what a puddle is I apply high porosity cellulose pulp sheet product to it, examine optical spectra and then expose to a billion element chemical sensor.

i.e. blot it with white paper towel, see what color it is, and give it a sniff.

Saw this under the truck (2025 XLT AWD HYBRID 1200 miles). Picture taken in front of right rear tire. I touched, smelled, and tasted the liquid and thought it was water, but it is a dry day here, and truck is garage kept. Does the AC water vent hose run all the way back to under the bed area? Plus lot of water for AC on 50deg morning. Appreciate any insights.

I worked for a company that forms mufflers, yes that is a crimped seam at the ends. It's fun to watch the machines build them! It's not fun to fix them when they malfunction though. The seams allow for condensate to drain.

Being that it is a Hybrid, the engine cycles on and off. That produces condensation in the exhaust system more than an ecoboost would. Be glad there is a weep hole to let it out.
My wife drives a Kia Niro hybrid and it marks its spot every time she parks it in the garage

That is Glen’s muffler not mine. I replaced my muffler with an aftermarket setup. No weep hole - maybe I should add one…
