It's the truck's version of "pull my finger". If you do pull it make sure nobody is standing behind the exhaust pipe

Locking gas doors are on Maverick hybrids because the fuel tank is pressurized.
Ford does sell a locking gas cap for your EcoBoost.

You know, ford should really make the tab a little bigger and emboss "FUEL DOOR RELEASE" on it. Would stop all the questions from confused owners.

Good point - The hybrids have a locking gas door but they don't have a gas cap, locking or otherwise..

EcoBoost doesn't come with a traditional gas cap locking or otherwise.
