Curt,After some trial and error, I found it's not just the"brightness" setting but Mirai the background. Much improvement. Thanks.
Is there a fix for brightening up my screen? Or seems dim and difficult to read in daylight hours.
JD, @hasbro452My problem is that my screen is very white and thus distracting while driving. Would rather it self dim while the car is in motion then brighten when something important needs to display. But always on seems distracting to me. Any thoughts?
Thank you. Very helpful. My salesman seemed like once I signed the papers couldn't be bothered with me asking questions on how things worked. I appreciate your willingness to offer some help.JD, @hasbro452
Have you tried the far right button I'm pointing to in the picture?
If you push the button twice it'll eliminate the time display.

There's also the day night setting within the infotainment system.

It will detect the amount of light in the interior and automatically darken the screen.
With the complexity of today's vehicles, it's almost unreasonable to think a non-specialized salesman could keep up. Luckily, the same technology has allowed creation of enthusiasts forums like this to fill that void and MTC really excells at that thanks to Glen Baker and many others here that do the same.Thank you.
