Different order status email from Ford.

Just received this. AFAIK no VIN yet. Didn’t get the other email earlier this week.

Dear J, We understand it has been too long since you last heard from us. Today, we wanted to give you an update on the status of your Maverick XL order. Unfortunately, continued supply chain issues are slowing things down. We’re working diligently to try and reduce these delays. Now here’s our promise to you. We know that waiting for delivery of your Ford is far less fun than actually driving it. So, we commit to updating you as soon as we can, at least once every 45 days regarding your vehicle’s production schedule status. No matter what. Thank you for your patience and understanding.​

Did you check to see if you got scheduled?
i did not receive this email, and I did receive Wednesdays email.
looks like it’s a “parts not in stock to finish” email to me.
maybe it’s a fluke?

Got the 6/29 dreaded email - drop packages or get in line for a '23,,,,,
Went to my dealer to discuss how to get on the 23 list.
When he looked up my order he found that my Lariat Hybrid with all its packages is now scheduled (on 6/30) for production week of 8/28, and I now have a VIN (no window sticker yet).
But of course since others have had several production weeks that keep slipping I will just have to wait until late July to see if it holds, or if I need to jump into the fray for a 23....
So, getting the 6/29 email is NOT an indication that an order (with constrained items) will not get assigned to a production week before the MY closeout. (original order date 10/24/22).

I checked 6/29 and it was unscheduled. No VIN. That’s what surprised me that I didn’t get the other email.

No, I’m just a XLT with lux package. I did call Ford yesterday so perhaps their CRM software triggered it?

Our mavericks are in the same production batch, chat told me the same production week. If you have a VIN, you will be getting a 22. There are no 23 VINs being made right now, and having a VIN makes the vehicles existence set in stone.
