Your strategy reminds me of the two guys in the forest who start running when they see a bear coming after them. One yells up to the other, " I wonder how fast he can run?"Agree.... in the world of tech, you can just about scam anything.
Its kinda like our RV..... we lock everything up (all doors and a lock on our king pin). All it does is make our 5er less attractive to steal or break in over others around us parked in a storage facility. The locks arent unbreachable by a someone who really wants in, but just makes others seem like lower hanging fruit that arent. And.... it has worked, especially during COVID when lots of theft was going on - others without locks were hit around us but not ours.
The other guy looks back and says, "It doesn't matter, as long as I keep running faster than you ! "
While you can't make everything as secure as Fort Knox, you don't need to.
Larceny is a crime of opportunity.
Steps to make you and yours safer usually just means you make it more difficult to steal your vehicle or license information, to keep the bear from biting you, when here are plenty of easier targets.
