Some have reported rusted boxes after a few years with DIBL.
I think this may be an urban legend. I have heard this since i was 16. I'm now 69 and I have never seen a rusted out bed from a bed liner.

Everyone seems to know someone who knows someone that heard that the DIBL's rust out truck beds.

It sucks that they removed it from luxury package. I like the Ford logo embossed at the cab

I don't like the drop in bed liner. But, if you get an XLT with lux pkg that's what you get. Can it be removed once you get the truck with no issues?
Or do folks like the DIBL. I havn't had a truck in quite a while and never a DIBL.
What do you think?
Mine came with SIBL and I really like it.

I had a DIBL for many years, when I took it out to have the truck painted there was no rust but the paint in the bed was rubbed off down to the primer

My 2023 XL came with the DIBL. I had to remove it to drill holes for the drainage tubes for the fold up tonneau cover. This was a week or two after I got the truck. There were already leave and stuff underneath the DIBL. I think I am going to pull the DIBL and replace with the SIBL. Just my .02.

I have the XLT lux pack and ordered sibl now in roll over 24, looked at the dibl at Romeo Ford Mi. Seems like a quality product. The dee rings on the floor near the bulkhead could load up with stuff so thinking I would caulk the gaps to keep it clean. Looks easy to pull and may just do that too. Could I sell it to another Mav owner maybe?

I got my SIBL from LINE-X and couldn't be happier. They did an excellent job by removing all hardware in bed before spraying. They sprayed the area between bottom edge of bed and tailgate. The drainage holes in front of bed were still there and not covered. Have had a variety of things in bed and cleans easily. Has enough grip to keep stuff from sliding around. Lifetime warranty. Well worth the money. If you plan on keeping the truck for a long time its the only way to go.

i suppose a DIBL is better than nothing but its inevitable that some water will pool under it and increase the chances for rust and corrosion damage. i much prefer the SIBL but thats just me. to each their own as they say.
