In my personal experience, my Lasfit lights have been amazing for the 23 months I've had my truck. I paid retail (on sale) price for the full kit and have not regretted it. I don't think their name should be lumped in with the Mabett's of the forum. A smart consumer does their own research though and understands the risk vs reward of a purchase. I know that Mabett offers cheap, plastic molded parts that will be at my door in 2 days from Amazon. They have their purpose in the market too (even if they ripped off some ideas from etsy sellers).

I think it is fine to state in general that "not all vendors should be trusted or viewed as an authority on the Maverick"

But if you're going to name vendors as you have now in the comments, I find it irresponsible and reckless to not provide concrete evidence and details of your personal experience for why they should not be trusted because you are potentially sullying their livelihood.

Otherwise, you shouldn't make this claim and gatekeep the quality of vendors for MTC.

I've been running Lastfit in my 22 Hybrid since day 1. Not a single problem.

In regards to Lastfit. I think you need to give them some grace with all the recall computer updates. They are creating a product that gets affected by every little update Ford has done. There are going to be hiccups trying to get the two match up after all the changes.

This!! Blame Ford for this issue, it's not the fault of Lasfit. Their product works as intended for the software it was designed to work with.

I have to agree with you. I started using LASFIT lights around January of 2022. I had a couple that had quit within the one year. On the warranty, and they were replaced right away.

A very valuable life lesson. Unfortunately, it is one that sometimes you have to learn the hard way, and more importantly, you learn as you get older. “Not everyone knows what they are talking about”. You learn to use a very fine filter. Always ask questions and find out what others in your situation are doing/using. That is a good thing about this forum. What are others doing and what has their experience been? And I do apologize for the novella.

mabett, lasfit, f150 LEDS and fast mavericks.

I don't trust them. They either have bad quality/durability or are overpriced. or both.

Not saying all their products are bad, Not saying they are bad businesses. I just personally don't trust their expertise, testing or products..
I don’t consider “overpriced” a bad vendor. Overpriced is very much an opinion to me. If people weren’t willing to pay the price, then the company would not be in business. I have read a lot of posts on here and I am going to say I support @Fast Mavericks. The work they do to tune the mavericks is not cheap and that company seems to put in the effort before offering their products. The posts I have read by him seem honest and helpful to me. But, I’m sorry @Fast Mavericks , I won’t be purchasing your products because I am not your target customer. There are many here that are, and are willing to pay the price they charge, otherwise they couldn’t afford to be a diamond sponsor.
there are many people that purchased a maverick with ADM, I would not have done that because I would have felt that made the maverick overpriced. Does that make Ford a bad company? No. It is supply and demand. Companies offer a product and people decide what price point they are willing to pay. Some will think it is overpriced, some will not. Some will think it is overpriced but still buy it. Price does not make a company bad.

I agreed with you.
In other words this thread is pointless and useless.
I think this thread has turned from pointless and useless to rather informative. I have now read several people supporting companies that were called out. This is their opportunity to give their opinion, good or bad, and that gives others a chance to hear other’s opinions. By leaving it open, anyone can give their opinion of any company. If OP threw out one or two companies, it would limit the thread.

The majority of etsy sellers are just drop shippers all buying from the same factory.

I was referring to the tailgate covers that people had designed and sold 3D printed versions of that Mabbett stole.

I'm sorry this is a small novel.
As I stated in the previous post. One of the first mods I did in March of 24 on my 2023 Maverick XLT were Lasfit Switchback turn signals. To begin with I love them. I think it's something that Ford should have had with the Maverick to begin with. Using the white light as daytime running lights.

The issue I had was HYPER FLASHING of the left turn signal. It only happened once in April. It was a very long double left turn in heavy traffic onto the freeway. In my opinion it was due to overheating of the unit.
Bear in mind it was only in the 60s then. Now that it's 105° out and getting hotter we'll see how it does.
When I contacted lasFit they were pretty proactive. That bothered me was they asked me what series of bulb did I buy. I replied I did not know I threw away all the packaging. I also responded that they should know that in their system of what T model stock they sent to me.
They did tell me that if there were continuing issues that I should contact their customer service line and that they would replace or refund my money.
Communication was pretty timely.
Having been involved in Internet Commerce for the best part of 7 years. I know the struggles that are inherent with dealing with the public. As a general rule, when I read through Amazon one star reviews, I dismiss more than half of them as being id%%%^. I know I've dealt with them.
Final thought.
I'm almost 70 years old I've lived a pretty good life mainly without internet and social media. Businesses basically had the upper hand. If their practices were good or bad, word of mouth was very slow. Most people were not going to take out an ad in TV or radio or newspaper just to praise or complain about a business.
Now those complaints or Compliments can be made by anybody with one of the six billion smartphones that are out in the world today. Companies need to be reminded, that they've got to be on their "A" game all the time.
Large companies are so worried about social media and posted reviews about settlements that are offered to customers. They are now requiring ndas be signed before a settlement is made.

Sorry long winded this morning.
Take care
