This!! Blame Ford for this issue, it's not the fault of Lasfit. Their product works as intended for the software it was designed to work with.I've been running Lastfit in my 22 Hybrid since day 1. Not a single problem.
In regards to Lastfit. I think you need to give them some grace with all the recall computer updates. They are creating a product that gets affected by every little update Ford has done. There are going to be hiccups trying to get the two match up after all the changes.
I have to agree with you. I started using LASFIT lights around January of 2022. I had a couple that had quit within the one year. On the warranty, and they were replaced right away.In my personal experience, my Lasfit lights have been amazing for the 23 months I've had my truck. I paid retail (on sale) price for the full kit and have not regretted it. I don't think their name should be lumped in with the Mabett's of the forum. A smart consumer does their own research though and understands the risk vs reward of a purchase. I know that Mabett offers cheap, plastic molded parts that will be at my door in 2 days from Amazon. They have their purpose in the market too (even if they ripped off some ideas from etsy sellers).
I don’t consider “overpriced” a bad vendor. Overpriced is very much an opinion to me. If people weren’t willing to pay the price, then the company would not be in business. I have read a lot of posts on here and I am going to say I support @Fast Mavericks. The work they do to tune the mavericks is not cheap and that company seems to put in the effort before offering their products. The posts I have read by him seem honest and helpful to me. But, I’m sorry @Fast Mavericks , I won’t be purchasing your products because I am not your target customer. There are many here that are, and are willing to pay the price they charge, otherwise they couldn’t afford to be a diamond sponsor.mabett, lasfit, f150 LEDS and fast mavericks.
I don't trust them. They either have bad quality/durability or are overpriced. or both.
Not saying all their products are bad, Not saying they are bad businesses. I just personally don't trust their expertise, testing or products..
I think this thread has turned from pointless and useless to rather informative. I have now read several people supporting companies that were called out. This is their opportunity to give their opinion, good or bad, and that gives others a chance to hear other’s opinions. By leaving it open, anyone can give their opinion of any company. If OP threw out one or two companies, it would limit the thread.I agreed with you.
In other words this thread is pointless and useless.
The majority of etsy sellers are just drop shippers all buying from the same factory. In my personal experience, my Lasfit lights have been amazing for the 23 months I've had my truck. I was referring to the tailgate covers that people had designed and sold 3D printed versions of that Mabbett stole. The majority of etsy sellers are just drop shippers all buying from the same factory.
