If you get one of those big cow catchers it's gonna bend what passes for a frame and total it anyhow. My reccomendation: drive slower or get a bigger truck.
Steelguard just came out with one for the Maverick that has pretty good reviews. I've been looking for one since I ordered my Maverick back in Jan 22 and got it in Dec 22. Unfortunately the one Steelguard makes doesn't fit a Tremor so I'm still looking as the MO Ozarks is probably the only place in the country that has more deer than rural Michigan!!!
I looked at steelguard and the problem with that one is you have to cut the bumper cover and it doesn't finish well.
Change that to Steelcraft and go to real truck for details!
I looked at the installation instructions on real truck and they are complicated but the only cut was to the bumper guard which is plastic. Pictures looked pretty good once installed so I'm not sure what doesn't finish well entails. For those of us who live in deer hell I could live with less than perfect if is saved the front of my truck from total destruction! I have 3 other trucks all with heavy duty brush guards and have hit deer with two of them with zero damage to the truck. Where I live its not a question of IF you hit a deer but rather WHEN so my Maverick just doesn't venture out after dark until someone comes up with a brush guard that fits a Tremor!!!
Not sure but I have one on my Ranger and it doesn't interfer with the adaptive cruise. For the Maverick they have an adaptor kit for forward looking camera but my XLT doesn't have adaptive cruise control so It wasn't an issue for me. Only freeken issue is it doesn't fit a Tremor.
Only decent mounted one I’ve seen , just not that wide , can always add to it .
