Deer Grill / Cattle Guard recommendations?

Hello there. I am looking at purchasing a 2025 Ford Maverick lariat. As I live in rural Michigan and the days are getting shorter what are some sturdy bumper protection option for deer? Should I have one spring out at me at the last moment. It seems a lot of them are vanity oriented. What is something of substance? Does anyone have any recommendations?

This reminds me of the difference between an Illinois girlfriend and a Wisconsin girlfriend.
When my Illinois girlfriend saw me almost hit a deer she screamed. When I hit a deer with my Wisconsin girlfriend (just knocked my truck Mirror off) I pulled over and ran back to get the mirror and check on the deer. I was puzzled because Jeannie didn't get out of the truck. Turns out she was looking for her big hunting knife. She showed up a minute later looking to gut the deer and take it home. But she was disappointed because it got up and ran away.
