Just so you understand - the system does that because it thinks at the current battery level and likely rate of discharge you may not be able to start the truck. So, can I disable Deep Sleep mode?
from what I read here and on the f150 forum, the is done by replacing the ford battery with something, almost anything, else! So, can I disable Deep Sleep mode?
GotchaIf you can keep the 12v battery charged, you can.
I've read on here that some of the trucks batteries have only lasted a couple years. ThanksI recommend replacing your battery with an AGM battery. For many, this has solved their deep sleep issues (some have done additional changes such as changing their battery charge level to 95%).
I certainly will replace it with a quality battery when it's time. Thank youI recommend replacing your battery with an AGM battery. For many, this has solved their deep sleep issues (some have done additional changes such as changing their battery charge level to 95%).
The truck sat for 10 days while we got over covid. The app told me to drive it to recharge the battery.Just so you understand - the system does that because it thinks at the current battery level and likely rate of discharge you may not be able to start the truck.
It's not a thing to try to disable.
It may not be true due to bad sensors - in specific case that's a recall or TSB to be fixed.
It may be true due to bad battery.
It may be true to to good but low quality / low power battery combined with very questionable battery system charging methods.
