On 2024 maverick xl, there are several $150 amazon soft bed covers. Most are velcro. 80 to 90% 4 out of 5 or better ranking.
Is there any brand you've used for awhile and still happy with it. Should I just suck it up and avoid these?
Thanks for feedback.

Thanks
I also have a 2024 XL.. now upgraded to the COWBOY edition.. (see my other posts)

I ordered this one from Amazon...on September 27th. Truck purchased Sept 20th.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZZ9PLFQ

However I have prime and at the time they offered it, on the listing they have a box on the right side that says "SAVE WITH USED- VERY GOOD CONDITION.
Sooooo- they were offering one for $127...
I took a stab at it. after all, returns are free...
I would have to say it arrived in 2 days and really was "open box"... it had been re-taped, but everything was in plastic bags. looked absolutely new. Insructions everything.
It was on my maverick in about 20 minutes, adjusted. etc. However, I have put 3 covers on my 22 year old GMC Duramax.. Easy Peezy..
I have had it through the automatic car wash, I have unlimited wash membership maybe 10 times since installed and inside bed is perfectly dry.

I would recomment this one on amazon and I'd go for a "used" one afterall if you don; like it send it back...

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I have a 2022 Lariat and I bought a soft roll up bed cover. It does have Velcro on the sides but keeps 95% of the water out of bed. (Estimated guess) I have been through car wash many times with little to no water in bed. Cover does not excessively move at highway speeds (70mph and higher). Is secured when tail gate is closed. Currently is prized at $159 with a $15 dollar coupon. Install was just me and less than an hour from in box to cleanup. Here is the link from Amazon

Enjoy your Maverick!!! Hope this helps.

I went with a soft tri fold on my 23 XL. It is more money than the ones you see but I have been very happy with it and it is holding up well after a year and a half. Most of that time my truck is outside, meaning not garaged.

I would buy it again and can recommend it. Very little water leakage.

It is a Tyger T-3 soft tri fold.

We have had a 2023 for 13 months now. I put a MaxMate soft cover on it immediately. We have no garage and live just south of Seattle, yet took a couple of road trips to the Southwest this summer which included 80+ mph freeway stretches. The cover has been just fine with virtually no leaks. I’m quite pleased with it.

Its been far too cold for outdoor projects since I picked up mine last month, but as I'll put a cover on eventually I have spent enough time on Amazon to decide that there must literally be one factory in China that makes them all.
The actual company websites do vary, but will we ever need customer service.
Oddly the rail clamps do seem to vary quite a bit. Not much else
Maxmate ($180) does claim a 10 yr warranty on their cover.
Tiptop ($160) 2yrs
they both came with the tiny puck flashlight addon
AUTOSAVER88 is currently on sale at $127.49.

Perhaps the Vinyl varies, steel bars vs aluminum , but for 99% of us, just any cover is fine.

I went with the Autosaver88 (updated the profile pic with it installed) and added a rubberized bed mat and tailgate mat. So far so good.
The cover overall was better than I expected. Decent stitching, nice weight to the material.
The install hardware is where they save a few bucks, but you also need no extra tools.
(and gee , that paint job in the bed is absolutely the thinnest it can be, needs protection)

I ordered a Tiptop soft Trifold from Amazon last Fall for $170 delivered. Easy install, perfect fit, only gets wet during the heaviest rainstorms. Doesn't completely fold up like some other tri folds but is easily removeable for full access to the bed.
