The salesman at the Ford dealership where I ordered my 2023 hybrid lariat maverick said of the 80 new orders they put in last week....11 of them were picked up (allocated) to this specific dealership...he also said one of the 11 allocated Mavericks is my build...I will keep you updated on this allocation and any emails from ford directly pertaining to my order
Are you a roll over 22 order or a brand new 23 order?

The 80 orders won't be built in a month they are only getting 11 built for the first month of production allocated to them and mine is one of the 11....the order confirmation I received from ford last week said I am one of the "early" orders and they will keep me updated on scheduling.....but, I do understand how allocations work and I do know for a fact the 23s are first come first serve this time around unlike the 22 orders
Every Maverick is one of the "early orders".... All 23 retail orders placed w/ in a week of each other.

I do work for a dealership...and do the stock vehicle ordering (and sometimes retail).

Dealership allocation, priority, and order "time stamp" will all play a role in scheduling....but constraints will still be the biggest factor (aside from allocation).

Allocations for September should be depleted this week. I see a fair amount previewing today and tomorrow (at priority 2) and scheduled Thursday, September 29th. The job #1 for the MY23 Maverick is still 11-14.

Based on last year when there were ZERO commodity constraints a local dealer ordered two stock Mavericks. A bare bones XL and AWD/4k XLT arrived and sold within 24 hours of arrival this week last year.

I remember that day because I turned down an offer to purchase either one at 1k over MSRP. I turned them down because I had ordered my hybrid XLT the day before and thought I'd get it as soon as the OKTB went active in early December. I can only imagine how much fun it would have been to drive and get more than I paid when selling soon to pick up my 9/25/21 order at LM this coming Tuesday.

Do you really get emails from Ford? I have an order in since Oct 2021. No notifications or emails.
I am not trying to be a bearer of bad news here, but if you have received NO emails or notifications from FORD since October 2021, I am not sure you actually have an "approved" order. At this point you would have needed to receive a VIN that would have confirmed your order as a 2022, or you would have been required to convert your order to a 2023 MY order with your dealer. This conversion would have generated an email from FORD.
I hope I am wrong about this and that you are soon happily driving your truck, but you should probably contact your dealer.

I suspect that your order did not include your email, but rather the dealers contact. This might have kept you out of the loop. If you have a VIN and the dealers original order #, usually 4 symbols (mine is c98h) you can track your order now on FORDS website, https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/
Good Luck!

8/10 production might have shipped by now. How many dots are checked on on your tracker?

It's only first come first serve if ur dealership put every order with the same priority.. Most likely they put the rollover 22 with a lower priority then e new 23 order..... I hope u get ur truck but after about month 5 passes and still no word or timetable.. Maybe u won't be so nieve.....
Ur sales man want to sell u a vehicle. The more they tellsl u what u want to hear the longer u stay on the hook and don't start looking else where or for a different vehicle or options...
