Ordered my Maverick, signed my order summary, and received order confirmation with no issues. I asked the dealer to send me the purchase offer so I could go ahead and sign it and have the peace of mind that I'd get my Maverick at MSRP when it finally gets here. I get the document and I see that the dealer has added on $2,600 of dealer add-ons marked as "optional". The add-ons were ResistAll and Apex Theft Recovery. After doing some research I decided that I didn't really need these options, especially at that price point. After asking my dealer to resend the document with those options removed I am suddenly getting radio silence. My biggest concern is that they are going to wait until the truck gets here, add the options without my permission, and then charge me for it anyway. Do you think I'm worried over nothing and they're just hoping to change my mind in person, or is this worth pestering them over until I get those options taken off my offer before I show up?

My advice, if you have time, is find another dealer and quick and tell them to go take a suck pill.

I would keep calling them every day or go in and talk to them to NOT include the extras since you do not want them. Otherwise they will put them on and charge you or sell it to someone else.
