2022 Ford maverick Lariat 2.0 all-wheel drive
So I have an order in with dealer X (wont name them yet). Been about 7 months and was not getting any updates from Ford. Dealer said they will let me know of any inbound updates. I called Ford Customer Relationship Center at 800-392-3673 where they can track just off your order #. They were puzzled to see my original order then also see same order # created later for a F250 HD. I believe the dealer used my order # to expedite inventory for their lot. They are currently investigating. I encourage anyone having issues with their dealer to call them.

It is a common practice at some dealers to reuse order numbers. Particularly when assigned to different Models.

That should not be a problem. You can habe support look up your particular order with order number and your email address, if they have it. They should also be able to see the model type assigned to the dueling order numbs for that dealer.
