So I have an order in with dealer X (wont name them yet). Been about 7 months and was not getting any updates from Ford. Dealer said they will let me know of any inbound updates. I called Ford Customer Relationship Center at 800-392-3673 where they can track just off your order #. They were...
Ford OEM PARTS FROM OFFICIAL SITE- MSRP: $1,191.42 for 17" (Type 2) $1263.30 for 18" (Type 2). No pics on website so if they are painted steel they are at $563.00. https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/parts/2022/ford/maverick
So the diameter of 18" has a radius of 9' leaving center at 4.5 inches (off the ground). Diameter of 17" has a radius of 8.5 leaving center at 4.25" (off the ground). So as I said "raise truck up a little bit". The tires have more impact but it is a separate calculation which I did not speak to.
I know my wheels are more expensive by a long shot but I need the 17" OEM wheels to accommodate the tires I am putting on without lifting truck. Current rims and rubber have 400miles. Like to do a trade within a commutable distance from Houston area.
Does anyone have a fiber material (usually see in trunk of car) as your wheel well liner? I have these in the front but plastic liners in rear. Talked to dealer and they indicated they used this same material on the Mach E and had to do a recall as it would absorb moisture, get heavy and sag!
Warning about the fender flair. Myself and a friend took 3 hours to get the hardware in. did not line up well but fit is good after some tugging and pushing.
I am going for that exact same rim and tire. Had that tire on last truck. Discount tire shows that rim is not a fit for the Maverick. where did you get the rims? Any spacer or lug adapters used? Did u use the 2" or 1" leveling kit?
My Maverick is still on order since November with no VIN, update or any idea when I will get it but…………I stumbled onto another dealer that someone had backed out of one that just arrived 1/2 hour ago. Silver Lariet 2.0 all wheel drive loaded. Paid an extra 2k for an actually pretty good...
