it’s not a brand new vehicle though.

I’m sorry you’re having troubles but we’re much more sympathetic to those that voice their issues but welcome known solutions in place.

I’d probably sell it and cancel your 2025 order and get yourself something reliable like a Honda civic, which never face any issues or recalls….
The Toyota Stout is coming out for 25. Ford will have BIG competition. Prices to be equal or lower than mavericks. Duel hybrid batteries WITH turbo, with multiple models to tow up to 7500 pounds! Many articles are on YouTube now. They are using the 2.4 E/G which I built and tested when I was at TMMK. Excellent and well proven motor.

There may be a small truck coming from Toyota but it won’t be in 2025 and it may not be coming to the states.

Earliest on a Toyota Stout is 2027 if it gets approved for the US market at all.

Well, my 2023 Mav Hybrid is dead. What started out as a parking brake failure has now turned into a dead vehicle. Yeah, I know…. You can’t jump it off… yeah well it is dead when I get back in it. So it’s terribly unreliable.

Local Ford dealers are so backed up they can’t get to it for weeks. So, basically, I have an expensive paperweight sitting in my yard that I can’t use.

So sad that Ford has such a poor service setup, and also sad that Ford couldn’t get this hybrid system right even though they have done a decent job with the Fusion Hybrid in the past.

I have a 2025 Maverick on order, but seeing how this is playing out, this will be my last Ford ever.
That sucks. We've had our 23 Hybrid for almost 2 years now. No issues except for all the recalls. Finally found the right dealership here in LA. And even the recalls are easy now. Best of luck to you. Our other car is a Mini Cooper S which is fun but a giant pain in the ass and the wallet every time something new goes wrong.

Agreed, make the dealership come and jump it every time you want to go for a drive. Become a squeaky wheel, and you'll get the grease.
